What went well? So much fun stuff, and reasonable prices! Coles Creek was amazingly peaceful and clean for $15/night. Gateway Grizzlies was a fun change of pace, and supporting the Harvest Host gave us a reason to see a game. St. Louis Zoo is a free attraction, and the boys are begging us to go back.
What challenged us? Schedule and routine. We have always struggled on this. But it’s even worse, as now we have more items out of our control (water pump stops working, camper gets too hot, rain changes plans).

Something we learned about RV living this month: We live in a tin box and summer is hot. Thank you Waggle for making sure we know when the camper is too hot! We’ve already had one surprise notification.
A mistake we made: leaving trash outside the camper at night. Enough said.

π Unexpected Blessings
Something that surprised us: it’s surprising me everyday how my kids like to play in the rivers and lakes. I mean, I thought they were like me, requiring chlorinated water, LOL.

Next stop: Twin Eagle Lakes Campground – we are super excited! Waterpark and lazy river, along with a lake with water fun.
What we’re excited about: the Arch. Still. We need to loop back into St. Louis for this.
What we’re nervous about: the tin box. The heat is getting to us lately..
