Why We Chose This Host
I was hoping to find a working farm to see how my boys enjoyed it
First Impressions
Check in was easy, communication was great. Directions were clear. Lots of space to maneuver and park. So fun to have goats/chickens on one side, and the horses on the other side.
Our Favorite Memories
❤️ Family Favorite
Sassy the horse! My son’s new BFF.
👦 Kid Favorite
Overall, I think the goats were a favorite.
🐶 Oscar’s Review
Oscar loved it! They were fine with him running off leash. Unfortunately, the Australian Shephard hearding instinct came out, and we chose to keep him on the leash and out of the horse field.
🙋 Mom’s Moment of Calm
Coffee outside in the morning listening to the animals while the kids slept.
What We Learned

Traveling With Neurodivergent Kids
This stop was amazing! Rita and Steve were kind and welcoming, and explained everything on the farm to the boys, and answered all their questions.
The animals were great for all my kids. Gentle, kind, eager to see them. We loved it.
We were about 30 minutes from any commercialization. We loved it. But definitely not convenient for the little things.
The Chaos Score
😌 Calm Score: 10/10
🌪️ Chaos Score: 10/10
We all loved it! Nice and calm surroundings, but the chaos could fit right in with the animals.
Would We Stay Again?
Yes
Anybody who loves farm animals would love this stay
Final Thoughts
We just want to thank Rita and Steve for their hospitality and showing us around the property. I know some core memories were made here.
